It's not an altogether terrible idea. At least perhaps we'll have a sense of who appears particularly concerned with their motive.

Exactly. [See, at least someone gets his weird logic.] If we have someone guarding after the items and getting an idea of how attached all of us are to them, it gives us a direction to go if someone tries to kill somebody else for them. You're not gonna kill for yours. I probably won't kill for mine.
