[Bull honestly isn't too torn up about this motive - he's never been a very material person. Being on the move constantly and also the whole cultural philosophy that personal possessions are all kind overrated garbage makes the whole materialism thing pretty easy to avoid. He isn't sentimental about many objects. Axes are replaceable, and so are most people to be honest.
Still. He seems to be fascinated by something in the case. Actually it's pretty large - and very hard to miss. Very hard to miss indeed. The painting is approaching lifesize, and obviously someone put a lot of time and effort into creating that masterpiece. Surely it's special to someone.]
Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not advocating for murder, but it'd be a damn shame to see that get destroyed. Just look at it.
thursday afternoon; gym
[Bull isn't really doing much. Just hanging out with . . . a broom stick? That he's offering to you?]
Hey. How hard can you swing?
monday
What in the Maker's name is that? Is it yours?
Re: monday
[He can't look away? She's so beautiful? Look at her???]
no subject
[That's actually kind of incredible.]
You're telling me that of all conceivable objects that ever have or ever could exist, this is what you would most want.
no subject
. . . Yup.
no subject
Rather impractical armor for a dragon fight?

[It's possible he's too refined in his tastes to appreciate this. It's also possible he's too gay to appreciate this.]
So, I take it you're planning to kill someone for this?
no subject
Shit, I'd kill someone for this. It's a great painting, I've killed for less.
(no subject)
thursday.
A fair degree. Why do you want to know?
no subject
[He stretches his arms, standing wider so he's got some balance.]
I need you to hit me.
no subject
[except she's already taking a stance, drawing the stick back, and swinging it forward to hit Bull pretty hard. this ship might have kept her strength in check some ways, but she's always going to be able to pack a wicked punch.]
no subject
Yeah! Fuck off demons! I'm the fucking Iron Bull! Hit me again!
[what the fuck]
no subject
[should she judge? probably. is she judging? absolutely not. this is entertaining and allows her to hit someone.
he can explain later, she figures. right now? she'll adhere to his wishes and hit him again.]
monday
It's... it's real pretty. Was it a gift? [ Maybe that's it? ]
no subject
Never seen it before. Damn pretty though. Chainmail smallclothes on a red-head. [Nodding approvingly.] Impractical as shit but . . . man. Look at it.
no subject
But there have to be more paintings like this. Out there. [ Are there? ]
no subject
This one though. This is a good one. Damn she's good.
Thursday
[Because what else would one need a broom stick for?]
no subject
[Then realizing he doesn't care. TOSSING HER THE BROOMSTICK catch it catch it]
Stick will do the trick. Okay. I need you to hit me.
no subject
Of course, Iron Bull isn't exactly a 'common bystander', so how much he'll feel it is unclear]
monday
Eh. It'd be cooler if she was fighting the dragon. Or if the castle was on fire. What's the point in riding a dragon if you're not causing as much wanton destruction with it as possible?
no subject
monday
...That is the most illogical armor I have seen in my life. Who would ride a dragon, much less in such improper attire?
no subject
Not saying it's protecting much, but there's a logic to it, if your logic is to show as much cleavage as possible. I'd say it's perfect attire for riding a dragon.
