[ A glance to the actual... literal key to her tower. ]
After 18 years, beggars can't be choosers. He was my way out.
[ Elizabeth's confused on the whole matter. It's a moot point by now, especially considering it's less about what her feelings were in Columbia and mostly about how to cope with her captivity. Again. Luke of all people has been making strides to put on a brave face and deal with it and in some weird way, she can appreciate that. Even if he was still a stranger. ]
I can't create anything. Not yet. Not here. [ She knows what he means, though... ] Have you found your items yet?

...trust me, I get it. You take the option that sounds better than whatever you were stuck with at the time. [Yeeeeah he sure does know about that. There's a lot that happened when he was about Elizabeth's age, and now being here is kind of like dredging up all of that. Dealing with it is about all he can do this time around.
She asks though and he nods toward a case not too far from where they're standing, the softly-glowing blade prominently displayed there.] Just the one item for me. Not sure why some get more than other people, but it's not like I had a ton of stuff back home either.

You have a thing for blades.
[ Light-hearted, Elizabeth doesn't mean to strike any cords but it was a funny connection. She can't judge - maybe it was his Fathers? It saved his life? It's part of a valiant mission to obtain it and defeat a tyrant overlord? She fantasizes it, but it's a blade. She knows nothing else. ]
Maybe your item is precious to you, while others like myself don't hold anything in such a high value. It's circumstantial.
[ She gives a light shrug. ]

[Like pulling items that are all precious, or all just factual. There shouldn't be an in-between in his opinion.] …I don't know if I'd call mine precious, but I'm not sure what'll happen if it gets destroyed since it's not actually mine anymore.
