WEEK FOUR

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (4)

monday - thursday

(33) survivors

Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods.

(OOC: Please submit your murder proposals by 9 PM EST Tuesday.)

ENTER COMMAND_
chiseler: (sets off an unsuspecting herd)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-05 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
[He pulls out his datapad from his pocket, pressing a button for it to light up. It's a very low glow, but.]

Who said I can't see?
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 tout semble auprès de lui très démodé)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-05 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. Good idea. Too bad there isn't a flashlight application on those.

[what one wouldn't give for cellphones on this ship]
chiseler: (ain't it strange?)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-05 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
They make those now? [Says the dude who absolutely does not have a cell phone ever.] This is just gonna have to work. It's better than what we've had in the past.
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 un acrobate oui)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-05 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Fire torches?

[adrien he's not from that far back]
chiseler: (ain't it strange?)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-05 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
[He'll feel himself being thwapped with the datapad.]

Actual flashlights. And sometimes other stuff. We didn't keep a lot of technology around so I don't even know what smartphones can do now.
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 tlm qui daigne du swing des cats)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
[he snickers at the thwapping]

Way more than a phone should, honestly. Your camp wasn't much for electronics? [that's rough, buddy]
chiseler: (get a second wind)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-06 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
Think of it this way. We kind of wanted to eliminate anything that made it a lot easier to find us and phones were pretty much a honing beacon back home. [And off they go crawling around like a couple of dumbasses.] Plus I didn't have a job and paying for a plan seemed pretty hard.

[He's...mostly kidding.]
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 c'est vrai)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
... I'm not one to judge about people's lives being weird [he wears a fursuit to fight crime is he even allowed] but your camp is starting to sound weirder by the minute.
chiseler: (man he never had a chance)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-06 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
You're the one dressed up to the point that you even have a bell around your neck, and I'm the weird one? [There, let's just say it for him.] Let's just say it was a special kind of camp.
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 la gigue avec des nattes?)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
It's my aesthetic. [completely deadpan. and that special thing gets a side-eye that Luke can't see as they continue to crawl] "Special"... as in, special forces?

[adrien he was not in an army camp ffs]
chiseler: (nice work you did)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-06 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
[There's an amused snort, though whether it's at the "aesthetic" or the question it's unclear.]

Special as in only a few kinds of people are even allowed inside. Guess you could say it's kinda like training to fight though, sure. [There's a smirk. Ah, yes, this guessing game. It's fun for him.]
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 quelle calamité oh)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
Ah. I get it. First rule of fight club and all that. [he's definitely sassier with the mask on. or maybe it's the total darkness thing.] You're absolutely sure it was a camp and not a cult, though?
chiseler: (another clever word)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-06 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
[Look he can deal with sassy teenagers, he had to put up with Percy's stupid ass for several years. This is right at home even as he's sketching and painting as they move.]

I'd be more likely to spike the kool-aid than drink it, dude. But it's absolutely not a cult. More like a safe haven. [It absolutely sounds like a cult sometimes holy shit.] You slap on a couple of games of Capture the Flag, arts and crafts time, archery, and sword training and it's definitely a camp though. It's just...hidden from most people.
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 parce que un chat quand il est cat)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
Sooo... less cult, more refuge. That's interesting. I've never been to any camp at all, so I can't say I'd know the difference.
chiseler: (nothing left to lose)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-06 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
That's exactly what it is. The other difference is that we could stay at Camp year-round if we want to. But...eventually you grow up and have to leave and you're on your own again.
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 parce que un chat quand il est cat)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Is that why you left? They made you?
chiseler: (man he never had a chance)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-06 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
I chose to. It had nothing to do with anybody making me do anything. [A pause, and some scribbling on his paper. What a nice conversation to have inside the vents where a murderer might be living...] Been a couple of years since I've been back, doesn't matter too much.
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 oh rinky tinky tinky)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
[speaking of murderer living quarters:]

There's a split here. Right or straight. It doesn't look like there's a drop yet.
chiseler: (gonna seize the day)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-06 04:08 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yet." [He sounds a little unenthused by that.] I'll take the right if you want to keep going straight ahead. I can figure it out from there.
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 s'acharne à swinguer)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Alright. Just give me a shout when you drop down into an exit.

[adrien stop being convinced he will fall and die]
chiseler: (what's worth forgiving?)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-06 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks for having such faith in me. Here, take this. [He's also shoving a jar of paint and a paintbrush at him to take along.] The last thing we need is you getting lost in here and everybody blaming me.
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈quand tout le monde veut devenir un ca)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
[he grabs it with an affronted look] I'll have you know cats have an excellent sense of direction.

[do they, adrien. and do you really want this to be your comeback.]
chiseler: (only in the worst way)

[personal profile] chiseler 2016-07-06 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Then you should have no problem finding me whenever the paths loop back together. [An eyeroll.] Get going, who knows how long we'll have in here?

[I mean, probably not long since Alice decided Monday afternoon would be the day they all get handcuffed but they can dream.] I'll catch up.
monsieurchatastrophe: (🐈 tout semble auprès de lui très démodé)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-07-06 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Aye aye, captain Luke. See you on the flip side. [new headcanon: they both get captured to get handcuffed while in the vents]
