WEEK THREE

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (3)

monday - thursday

(35) survivors

Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods.

(OOC: Please submit your murder proposals by 9 PM EST Tuesday.)

tacklefordwhimsy: I think that is no good. (Erin?)

...Ladyblog. Marinette takes the time to publish reports about attacks in a blog before fighting.

[And with a pun, to boot. What a dork, she is]

I'm not sure if I'm amused or a bit concerned about that

monsieurchatastrophe: (I'm completely free)

[he actually laughs at that]

No, she doesn't run it. ...Actually, now that I think about it, her best friend does. She's a big fan of Ladybug.

[he sounds like he thinks it's amusing, probably because he's made his peace with "ladybug was sitting behind me in class" and knowing he wasn't the only one suffering is now hilarious]
tacklefordwhimsy: Want to be a whistleblower? (Just asking!)

Funny how the heroes and its fans all are near each other without even realizing it. Could it be--

[DRAMATIC GASP]

--the villains may be in your class too?

monsieurchatastrophe: (look at it all so big)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-06-23 04:29 pm (UTC)(link)
... Well, all the kids in my class have been victims of Papillon's already. So, technically, yes?

[@ not-adrien's-dad could you go outside adrien's circle of people he knows]

tacklefordwhimsy: These wounds are part of the job (I'm a pro at journalism)

...why is your supervillain foe targeting high school children? Those are not good targets for evil plans.

[She speaks from experience, having seen that happen a couple times already]
monsieurchatastrophe: (and so I'll read a book)

[personal profile] monsieurchatastrophe 2016-06-24 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm in middle school, actually.

[said a little bit sheepishly, but then he shrugs and adds:]

He doesn't just go after teenagers. There's been a lot of adults too and... this one kid, I think she was around five? He targets people who are emotionally vulnerable, he doesn't discriminate based on anything. We've had to fight a rock star, a police officer, and some guy who really liked pigeons, amongst other things.

...emotionally vulnerable, huh. Sounds like the type of guy that would kidnap people and lock them in a spaceship.

[Just saying]

Why is he doing that, what does he gain? That's what I don't get from villains, it doesn't seem like they have a reason to do what they do beyond 'REVENGE'.
monsieurchatastrophe: (a few new paintings to my galle)

I thought about it, but this isn't his style. It's also out of his range of powers.

[the ice cream they've been eating is kind of melted by now, and he turns the spoon around in it a few times as he hesitates. normally he wouldn't be opposed to telling shelley but paranoia week makes him be vaguer about it:]

...He's told us what he wants. Our powers. I don't know why, or even how he knew we'd show up-- we only got them in the first place to stop him after he'd already attacked.
