monday - thursday (35) survivors Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. [First things first. Jessie is going to attempt to close one eye and remove Niles' eyepatch as carefully as possible. If it's evidence, it's evidence. If it's not, she's going to wash it for him. It's the only thing she can do for him, isn't it.]

This is vulgar. ...Bull, before we lost Sleeping Not-Beautiful over there, did he tell you about what we found?

[She's going to search the chair and...try to look as little at the intestines as possible. She's going to need a shower soon. Very soon.]

[He'll help Jessie poke around Niles' bits then. Eyepatch solidarity. He'll mess with the intestines if she won't - have they been cut apart cleanly or is it more of a mauling. Is there anything to note about the weird intestine scarf, apart from the fact that you guys are making me type "intestine scarf."]

Nope. Probably better than this if he made it through though.

{ Okay well, if there are like, arms, legs, and/or hands from Niles being strewn around within his eyesight, he'll look at those closely? Since it seems the others are looking at his head and the intestine scarf... whatever the hell.

It doesn't help he's not sure what he's looking for (but are they all ever?).

He's good at steeling himself, because he's definitely seen Some Shit, but it's not like he's going to be like 'ok this is completely kosher'. If anything, the stench was still horrid and so now his face now was wearing an expression of possible permanent disgust. }

[There sure are a bunch of hands and legs from Niles strewn around! Like Maria's, it looks like whatever could be hacked off has been hacked off and thrown around the room at random places. The only major difference is that instead of being bisected, Niles' torso has been clawed open and violently ripped apart like someone trying to get into a bag of chips. Most of his organs, including his heart, are missing - you can probably find them around the room somewhere.

Coming back to Niles' head, it looks like the eye underneath the eyepatch has magically grown back! Except...were Niles' eyes always that shade of blue? And the eye sure does look loose and unattached to anything. It's almost like someone just shoved a random eye into the socket...careful not to move the head too much, or that eye might just fall onto one of you.

The intestines look like they were ripped out of his torso. There's definitely more of a mauled look to them - there's nothing clean about it at all.]

[Surprising maybe no one in the room, Jessie straightens up and clutches that eyepatch so hard she'd burn a hole in it if her blood was any hotter. Her voice is as haughty as ever, like she's the one giving the orders.]

I'm leaving. I've had enough of...this. You can all check out the arrival room on your own.

[Don't let them see you cry! With her mission accomplished, she'll do a quick turn around and start walking for the doors of the view port. Are her shoulders shaking? ...No, she's probably just a little unsteady.]

[Poor Jessie definitely will need that dinner later. She'll totally have an appetite after seeing this right? Letting her go without protest - it's not as if he's going to make anyone STAY in the room of horrors.]

Looks like they met the wrong end of a Gurgut. Hard to figure out where to look.

[Well, one more sweep around those torsos. Maybe a weapon got left behind or some sort of clue as to who or what ripped them apart. Or someone left that eye around.]

[No weapons or anything of the sort around the torsos, just lots of body parts. The final eye doesn't seem to be anywhere near the torsos either.]

[Oh hey, guys. He's followed the sounds of screaming and the trail of blood from a pair of stupid curly shoes in here, so he's not completely shocked to see blood and a group of people in here. He's a little relieved to see them alive, in fact. On the other hand, the scene in here is gruesome enough that he gags, despite not being particularly squeamish.]

Vishante Kaffas! Am I interrupting a murder, or is this what happens when you hide the alcohol?

[ Raising a hand to wave to him. As if that's appropriate. Hey. Welcome to the murder, Dorian.]

[As Dorian walks into the room, something falls from the doorframe and lands on his head with a splat.

Oh.

It looks like it's an eyeball.]

Plucking the thing out of his formerly nicely coiffed hair.]

This is almost impressively gruesome.

Yeah. Some kind of warning, maybe. Or someone just has a thing for eyes.

Well, it could be worse. It could be the decor in Skyhold.

This seems overkill for a warning. They probably could have stopped at decapitation.

[ Stepping back to just. Observe one more time. This is getting gross, he doesn't seem to be finding anything else. They could just keep hanging out for the ambiance, though.]

You'd think. Shit, even just the eye thing gets people going. Folks are weird about eyes.

[He's seeing all this fresh, so he'll take a look at how torn apart the torsos are, and then get a closer look at the heads.] Hmm. It seems a little strange, doesn't it?

[The torsos are super torn apart! Tossed haphazardly on the floor by Niles' head are a few bits of grisly muscle that don't seem to resemble any sort of human organ.

Oh wait. They might be what you get if you squeeze a human heart hard enough for it to burst.]

[Leaning in to look at the heads as well, might as well get one last look in. Poor fellas.]

Strange how? Kind of like they let a pack of blood mages go nuts in here?

Urgh.

[Wincing at the heart. This is all getting oppressively disgusting.]

Well, yes. It looks like the aftermath of a Circle party in here. But besides that. Some of the touches are very deliberate, like whatever is going on with the eyes. And then the rest of it is as though they were devoured by something. It's as though something ripped them apart, and then someone else came through to stage it.

{ Arumat can't blame the woman for once, but she's caught his attention, and for a short time he watches her prepare to leave. He doesn't know why, but he decides to say something after all. }

We'll avenge them -- whatever or whoever did this to them will not be getting off lightly.

{ He'll leave it at that, but honestly, he's tired of looking at Niles' body parts. The man was a lewd fool, but he had done no wrong -- and Maria was just as innocent. They had been both innocent civilians, taken advantage of in their prone state.

He finally rose to his feet, beginning to make his own exit as well. He doesn't think he wishes to linger around here any longer, either.

That and whoever did this may have been lingering around -- it's not like he'd walk Jessie to her room, because he found her presence to be trying, but he wouldn't want to find her (another innocent) dead either. }
