saturday TRIAL DAY ONE (38) survivors At 9 AM, a klaxon alarm begins blaring in every area of the ship. The alarm will continue to go off until everyone has gathered in the conference room. Should anyone be running late or avoiding the trial for whatever reason, a robot guide will appear wherever they are and gently but firmly escort them into the room. Once all the living players are present, the conference room doors will lock shut; anyone who wishes to leave for whatever reason will need to ask AL-2955 or one of the robots. Anyone leaving for non-investigative purposes, such as bathroom breaks, will be accompanied by a robot escort. The large round table in the center of the conference room has been set up to help the trial run as smoothly as possible. Three holographic screens hover above the center hollow of the table, visible from every angle. The first screen displays the pictures and profiles of the suspects and victim; the second displays the autopsy report; the third displays a blank word processor. Each of the chairs comes equipped with a virtual keyboard which can be used to type information directly into the third screen, such as theories and updated information; they can also be set into privacy mode, which will transfer whatever notes someone writes directly into their datapad instead of on screen. There's also a tablet function for those who wish to draw charts or pictures on screen. The keyboards will detect the DNA of whoever's using them and record who's typed what - simply press an area of text and the name of whoever wrote it will pop up. The area to the right of the table has been temporarily sectioned off with a glass partition and sliding door for hygienic issues. Inside, the victim's body has been laid out on a metal autopsy table, covered by a plastic sheet. Above it is a holographic screen that displays a close-up color photograph of the body when it was found. A hand sanitizer dispenser has been considerately attached to the wall nearby for anyone getting up close and personal to the body. To the left of the conference table is a display case. Any evidence found during the investigation will be carefully collected by the robots at some point the previous day and placed here before the trial starts. Beneath each piece of evidence is a small tablet where players can type up information, such as a short description or where it was found. There are also empty areas left over for any evidence that may be found during the trial. The shelf at the very bottom of the case has been reserved for an extra rulebook in case anyone needs it. Food will be served throughout the day by the robots, who will take individual orders whenever you're feeling hungry. The trial will end at 9:00 PM, at which point all players will have been expected to cast their vote.

[There is nothing of interest hidden on, under, or near the bed. The sheets have been quickly tugged over the mattress in a semblance of making the bed and she already has her outfit for tomorrow hung up on the upper bunk... Not like she'll be able to get to it in the conference room.

The door frame is spotless. No rings were thrown around in here.

There's a tablet on the desk! Oops, it's flashing a overdue warning sign. Looks like she forgot to bring it back to the lounge after a dead body was found yesterday. There's a few scrapes of paper with fashion design doodles stuffed into a drawer as well but nothing murdery by the looks of it.]

Yes, I think so as well. I have to wonder why, though, if they were going to make it so obvious they used it...

Because even if we know they did it, it doesn't help us figure out who.

They're tryin' to confuse the issue and mess us up, basically. I mean...you have two options with the key: use it obviously or use it in a subtle way and hope your plan doesn't fall apart when we find that knot. The obvious way might be the actually less dangerous way?

[ who knows. dave will remove and examine the doodles just for the sake of being thorough, but then he will pick up the tablet and turn it on to see what emily was up to with it last. is there anything of interest on it? ]

[Underneath the mattress Adelina finds... nothing! The outfit is clean and wrinkle free with a tasteful muted color palette. They seem to be winter clothing for what it's worth. Especially leagues above the gross clothing found during the investigation.

If the bedroom was lived in the bathroom is organized chaos. There's an army of cosmetic bottles and tubes along the sink and small shower space. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to stay looking fabulous. She's definitely not hesitant about asking the robots for thinks by the look of it.

The tablet opens up to some music and e-reader apps. Don't judge her for reading Jane Austen or it's murdergame equivalent, okay? And because I totally didn't forget- Under the scraps of paper is an emergency flare gun. Considering the fact that it was buried it's a pretty good bet that she hasn't touched it in a while.]

Then they must have left something apart from what was entirely obvious... And they have some degree of intelligence and forethought.

Anyway, the statue is covered with an extra sheet because that shit is creepy and it makes her feel like Ass Lice might not be looking at her every second. It probably doesn't stop anything but it gives her some peace of mind.

The bathroom is a room for beauty and nothing else. Stop snooping around her poor tub! She's not going to take any baths and risk having to run around in a towel like some of her friends, okay? Just know that it's surprisingly spotless for the amount of use it must get since their arrival two weeks ago.

THAT'S A LOT OF QUESTIONS, DAVE. She's halfway through the shorty story Lady Susan because who reads well known shit? The music is Rihanna's album Good Girls Gone Bad because of course it is. This is a great mixture for the best results. The chair is set at the optimum height of 14 inches for a comfortable desk experience and nothing is taped under it. That sounds like a lot of work and a really shitty hiding spot, by the way.

IF THEY MESS UP HER CLOSET NO EXTREMELY KIND WORDS WILL SAVE THEM. It's filled with winter themed clothes, no wonder she's always bundled up! There's a selection of high quality cotton, suspiciously Northface jackets, and stylish sweaters. No ugly Christmas themes for her, thanks. Every single pair of jeans is skinny and black. She's not an edgelord, she swears.]
