monday (41) survivors You stand with your friends, your family, and your enemies, shoulder to shoulder. Your fourth option lays in front of you, on the bridge of the Nuwa, and it's a tear in the fabric of reality, but you can see your home waiting for you. It looks idyllic, perfect, just the way you'd want it to be. Your fifth option lies in another tear - the tear of a friend. Perhaps their heart is kind enough to take in a stray. What's with people calling him princess ( ... does he really look that pretty, somewhere in his head he wonders) ? Arumat gives Terumi a Look. He put up with it from Jack ( because he got to call him an old man in return ), someone else even besides Jack called him princess but he forgot who that was, and now Terumi is adding to that number. He doesn't even know the guy so he's not content to let this fly.

Arumat may be mentally tired, but he can STILL get easily wired up. }

I think that'd be funny if you did. [ Kazuma giggles a little but it doesn't last long, because he can read Terumi's feelings from here and well... ]

Arumat's right hand twitches and almost certainly reaches for his scythe nearby ( he carries the damn thing all the time wherever he goes let's say he laid it against a wall or something ). He's seeing with rage for a moment that does nothing but consume him. The same rage he felt by the end of week six and when he passed.

You really are an imbecile. While we were both 'dead' we did more than being 'useless' and a good amount more than 'nothing'. Of course you wouldn't know that, since you speak like a fool half the damn time anyway.

Terumi, please— [ Things are really awkward, because after that they seem to still be arguing, but Arumat won't be able to hear them. Yay vessel things. Eventually though Terumi just crosses his arms, apparently mollified for now even if he looks like he wants to say more.

Finally, Kazuma turns to Arumat.]

He's always like this, it's nothing personal to you. [ A beat.] I...I think I'm already broken, Arumat. At the least...I'll remember to keep fighting, okay? [ It's vague, but it's the one thing he's always admired about the other no matter what: to always keep going. In his case maybe it wasn't the best advice to take, but maybe one day he'd finally be fighting for himself.]

{ For a second he does lose it, and the scythe's well within his hands, clutched tightly. It's only through Kazuma's intervention that a fight doesn't erupt here on the ship right there and then -- but who knows how long that'd last?

He'll just send Terumi a quick smug look instead before giving Kazuma a reply. }

Even if someone's broken, they can manage that at least. Maybe more, depending.

That said, your answer is sufficient. Giving up or giving in is not an option.

{ He should know-- he's not broken like Kazuma is, but he's definitely... Yeah. But he's obviously accepted Kazuma's answer. As long as he doesn't give in, maybe someday the lad can finally make the right choices. }

[ Kazuma is about to reply a small smile already on his lips, when Terumi steps forward, butterfly knife in hand.]

Oh shut the hell up. You've known him for a few months, when he was made for me. And if you're going to wave that thing around, don't be a bitch about it and actually do something.

Don't- [ But it's moot at this point, even if Kazuma tries to argue with Terumi more. He knows both of them, and he knows both of them aren't going to be content to stop like this. The last thing he does is throw up a quick barrier so he can get the hell out of the way.]

Do us both a favor and shut your damn mouth for once. Kazuma is an individual, separate from yourself -- it doesn't matter who or what he was made for.

... Let's see if you can do something else besides just whine when things don't go your way, bastard.

{ Once Kazuma's put up a barrier, that's when Arumat makes his first move, swinging his scythe in a quick, wide horizontal arc towards Terumi. It's a good thing they're not in the halls exactly because of the range and damage-worries. Yet he's not stupid enough to pull anything that would cause trouble to everyone else. }

[ Unfortunately, Terumi cares little about the safety of everyone else, if Kazuma's barrier was any indication.]

Ouroboros! [ There's a flash of green light and suddenly a greem chain materializes from a seal that forms in midair. It launches itself towards the scythe in an attempt to ensnare and potentially disarm. If that doesn't work, Terumi still has his daggers to parry with if necessary.]

Finally. I think the kid would bitch if I kill you, but I don't see the harm in playing with you for a little while~.
