Have you heard of Ladybug? The superhero. She's trying her best for everyone here and -- [ ...and when she died, she restocked the medbay for all them. yuno frowns and it's clear what she wants to say is. not fun to say. ]

She's nice and she's pretty and was just trying to help. But I guess Jason got frustrated. Can you help him with that? He helped me with my burns so I don't want him to be frustrated.

[ this was SUCH a bad idea. now she's just said. and gay, apparently ]

[ okay, give him a moment to not like, immediately laugh at "the superhero". he goes through his mental list of all heroes he knows really quick and when he can count her off, he assumes another universe. alright then.

still, she sounds young and impressionable and he weighs the pros and cons of being kind to a child or defend his son against someone he doesn't know. there's no contest there really, he doesn't have all the information but he knows jason well enough to understand what may have happened. ]

Jason... says things, when he's upset. I wouldn't give it much attention but I can talk to him about it, if you'd like? If it's upsetting you enough to tell me.

Well. To be honest, I just wanted to get him in trouble. Marinette was trying to solve the case, but I think Jason didn't like the way she was doing it, or... something. [ can you sound like you're shrugging? yuno manages that. ]

But I can tell. He's very sarcastic. Does he get that from you? It doesn't sound like it. [ and there's a laugh to accompany that statement, but she follows it up with: ] You must have to be really patient with a son like him.

I'm pretty sure he was just born that way, actually.

[ a short huff of laughter because god, jason being sarcastic. the sky is blue and the grass is green. what else is new? it also ends in a bit of a sigh because u rite, yuno. ]

He's... well, he is what he is. I can't change him. Do you know him well? Aside from what happened with Marinette.

Hm, well. He means well, but he's kind of angry? We haven't spoken a lot, but when my legs got burned, he was nice to me. Sometimes he says funny things, and he has some smart things to say from time to time... I'm kind of mad at him right now, but most people here love him, I think.

[ ... elizabeth in particular comes to mind here... but yuno won't doxx liz. HAH but it's true. jason seems to be a pretty popular guy. yuno's not going to lie, not to a parent. ]

He's okay, though. We've all been hurt in some manner, I guess... we've all got wounds. Jason's got them, but he's... He's trying his hardest. [ ... ] But you should still scold him for yelling at Marinette.

[ this is something he definitely has to consider because it's kind of... opposite of his own perception of jason. still, he could admit that his perception is tainted by their experiences together so -- he tries to be objective about this.

That... definitely sounds like the Jason I know. I'll scold him if it makes you feel better but I promise, his heart was probably in the right place -- even if he couldn't show it then.

Yes. Tell me as much as you can so I can at least get some bandages together for when you arrive. I didn't expect him to be so injured. Are all of you that wounded?

[ like. physically only, bruce? can they ask for some xanax? because she's pretty sure she needs some kind of antidepressant at this point and probably the rest of the ship too? she hesitates in her response. ]

Out of the ten who lived through the whole game, yeah. All of us are injured. Aside from Dave, and I gave Adrien his hand back, so he's fine. [ she sounds pretty pleased with that last bit, though. as strange as it sounds...?? ] Jason got his wounds from the aliens. [ which hopefully... communicates how hard jason has been trying, she thinks? like. punish him but also, she's not the type of person to spitefully try to keep someone from bonding with the parent. not anymore. ]

We've been surviving but if you've got... a doctor, that would be immensely helpful. [ a beat. ] Are you a doctor, sir?

[ bruce wayne is no psychologist, yuno. why do you think he puts on the batsuit at night? he's not a guy who deals with his issues well.

he's also going to just... gently gloss over that hand thing because what the fuck. ]

I'm not a doctor but I have enough medical knowledge that I should be able to help. If you could make a list of the physical wounds those on the ship are suffering from, I can do my best to patch them up when you arrive. Not just Jason, but anyone on the Pygmalion too. Can you do that for me, [ checking the name of who he's talking to here. ] Yuno? I would appreciate it.

[ give her around five minutes and she'll send over a text file attachment. ]

I'm not sure on the extent of everyone else's wounds, but I know Adrien's, Dave's and Judar's. Mine are more detailed because I know them best. Dave's been doing his best to help me out but I probably need more professional care.

And. I'm sorry, yes. I'm Yuno Gasai. My mom... is she okay? Her name is Saika, I keep trying to call, but she doesn't answer.

[ well, that's informative. he frowns when he gets to yuno then, wondering what exactly happened to her to get so many burns. he's already thinking of ways to heal burn wounds so, he'll most likely have something prepared for her when the nuwa arrives.

This helps a lot, Yuno. Thanks. Are you taking care of your burns? It must be hard to handle the datapad if your hands are wounded. Try not to irritate them more than you have to.

[ and then she asks about her mom and yiiikes. saika gasai is not a woman bruce is fond of and suddenly, he gets it. how to put "your mom is an awful bitch" as delicately as possible... ]

She's a little busy right now, Yuno. I don't think you'll be able to talk to her until your ship arrives here. For now, you should probably stick with your friends and enjoy the ride if you can.

It's a lot easier to take care of them now that we had the medical bay restocked recently. And my husband, he's good at taking care of wounds in a pinch. If it wasn't for him, I'd be dead.

[ but the news of her mother gives yuno pause. she... wants her to be okay, but yuno has no intention of going home with her, either. the abuse she endured is enough for a lifetime. now she just wants to be happy. ]

I think Jason and Clover will kill us before we get there, honestly. He's only got one eye, to begin with.

[ he cuts himself off. that's again, not a topic he wants to touch because she seriously does not sound that old and it just brings to mind a ridiculous amount of terrible explanations instead.
