WEEK 13 - I can't lie to you about your chances, but you have my sympathies.
the pygmalion. . . ONLINE ![]() CAPTAIN'S LOG: WEEK (13) |
sunday (41) survivors ![]() Something in the air breaks, shattering from deep within space itself - and to accompany that sensation is a psychic scream. The ship shakes, coming to a screeching halt as a bright light explodes outside it. It pulses, not unlike a heartbeat, that crawls and crawls along at a slow, grueling pace. The last illusion has been broken, the last mental tie severed and crushed. You've done well up until now, and you can reap the benefits of Her labor; the dead walk among you, after all, and as Her scream rings out, a burst of energy shoots through the residents of the Pygmalion. It's clearly a desperate bid, but it doesn't root itself in place. Instead, you feel lighter than ever - Her attempt to claim you has only unraveled the string that kept you in place. The 40% limit has been lifted, and you are at full capacity. The chains have been broken. Go freely, heroes. taken list profiles private conversations setting rulebook ENTER COMMAND_ |

Touch isn't something he initiates, but it doesn't mean that it's foreign to him. In fact, it feels kind of nice. It takes him a moment to hug her back back, but he does, even if it's tentative at first.]
I'm...happy to see you again.

[no phrase spoken and then dying on the floor. truly resurrected, and even if she'd scoffed at it in front of Dr. Lin, she was so wrung out by the impossible that it is easy to simply take the small mercy of him being here and divide it from her own thoughts on reviving the dead.]

Maybe I'll finally be able to help you better, now. [ He's seen her fight and knows she's incredibly strong, but he's willing to give her all of his magic even if it would only help a tiny bit.]

[even if at times he had been vague or not as forthcoming as he might have been, to her, it matters little in terms of how he'd also helped by simply being there. by giving her virtual roses to admire in the few moments of downtime, by talking. it's helping in a way she doesn't have a word for.]
But far be it from me to deny you a moment to shine.

But if you wouldn't mind, I could provide you support.

[after all, he'd gone away before the real fun began.]
Because you see, I excel in offense...but I have always needed support. Apart from the trite and dull, I cannot think of a situation where it has not aided me or would have come dearly valued.

I'd be more than happy to, Miss Grell. Watching you fight, all the carnage everywhere it was...amazing. [ It spoke to his soul.]

[she can't resist the moment to brag. if there's anything she has pride in, it's her capacity to make a beautiful battle, and her hair.]

...I wouldn't be surprised if you're as powerful as Terumi. [ Thank god he isn't around to hear this though.]

[pulling back, she grins at him.]
That makes me want to test the idea out. If he was amenable to it, of course, but it's been a while since I had a proper fight...
[stop this madness.]

It's probably been a while since he's had a good fight too, I just wouldn't want either of you to get seriously hurt.
...but I think it would be fun~.
