WEEK 13 - I can't lie to you about your chances, but you have my sympathies.

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (13)

sunday

(41) survivors

Something in the air breaks, shattering from deep within space itself - and to accompany that sensation is a psychic scream. The ship shakes, coming to a screeching halt as a bright light explodes outside it. It pulses, not unlike a heartbeat, that crawls and crawls along at a slow, grueling pace. The last illusion has been broken, the last mental tie severed and crushed. You've done well up until now, and you can reap the benefits of Her labor; the dead walk among you, after all, and as Her scream rings out, a burst of energy shoots through the residents of the Pygmalion. It's clearly a desperate bid, but it doesn't root itself in place. Instead, you feel lighter than ever - Her attempt to claim you has only unraveled the string that kept you in place. The 40% limit has been lifted, and you are at full capacity.

The chains have been broken.

Go freely, heroes.

[Okay, but it's much less cool when you're just having to swing back and forth like a dummy with a hammer or some equally not as cool weapon. He does like the idea of fighting while he's surrounded by cool bursts of fire though - it certain is making this pretty metal.]

I got some ideas! They'll help, really. Start putting some trademarks on my mage armor line.

[Instead of using his axe, just stomping a bug with his foot for emphasis.]

[You're welcome for making this fight incredibly cool, instead of just like, a big shirtless guy squashing some bugs. Building up a little mana after the fire mines by acting like a living bug zapper.]

It will never catch on. Heavy armor and complex staffwork aren't a good mix, and most mages have too much vanity for armored clown pants.

Try to bring down that big one - [gesturing towards one of the human sized ones] - I'll let it do some exterminating for us.

Well, know for a fact you don't have to wave it around like you're working it over. Dalish does just fine pretending it's a bow. You can stand still and shoot fireballs, and you'd also look fine in these pants.

[THEY ARE GREAT PANTS. He's already huffing like a real warrior for the first time in a while, taking a massive charge at the human sized one and aiming to slice it in half with one swing. Just to show off mostly.]

For your information, good form with a staff is incredibly important to spellcasting, and additionally makes me look incredibly impressive. On the magic the pants, and my overall aesthetic, I'm going for something other than 'just fine.'

[Shooting a few fireballs with some extra flourish to pick off the smaller ones trying to come for him. Laughing loudly at a particularly well executed move that has a whole group go up in flames.]

Hah! Tell me again how I ought to stand still in my heavy armor!
