WEEK 13

the pygmalion. . .

ONLINE

CAPTAIN'S LOG:
WEEK (13)

monday - thursday

(10) survivors

Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find that the ship is still in disarray; there is no robot prepared breakfast, nor has any of the damage been repaired. The ship bears power in the rooms you have decided should have power, though the lights are dim. Without Alice, you are all on your own. The ominous pressure of the Queen Mother still looms, though you no longer feel Her presence.

That's the spirit! [Shelley you are 10000% one of his favorites for that.] And anyway...you're probably right. Go out with a whimper or a bang, you know? I know which one I'd choose.

One of the other things Sunny suggested was that we prep by trying out the cradles ourselves. I don't know if I want to buy into it, but can you tell me anything else about those? That's how you got to us, right? Breaking your cradles.
tacklefordwhimsy: I think that is no good. (Are you sure)

Oh boy.

[This is going to be fun]

The cradles create a "paradise" for each person, it can have whatever your heart desires, and virtual copies of all the people you want to have with you. The problem is that you don't even notice it isn't real.

We broke our cradle by having our friends - and Kazuma - invade our cradles, being there right when it was activated. We had to work so hard to convince each person the cradle wasn't real, and...it can be dangerous too. I don't know if dying is possible but better not to take any chances. Don't let anything kill you.

[Shelley's avatar paces around]

You'd all need to take turns going into each other's cradle.

but is going in the cradle really gonna help?
i mean, we were able to break out b/c there were people who weren't affected in with us
but wouldn't the queen mind-whammy everyone at the same time? so you're basically on your own??
if going against the queen is what you wanna do i don't see how "practice" makes sense in this case, esp since there's not much power to spare
tacklefordwhimsy: This is useful for that, right? (Looking for a ghost)

It's worth a try. Besides they're going to need the energy, so...

[So there's nothing to lose. It could even buy them a few days]

they can't break them without going into the matrix? i figured that was a special case for us b/c we're in the system, but they could just save the power drain by physically destroying them...?
