WEEK 13
| the pygmalion. . . ONLINE ![]() CAPTAIN'S LOG: WEEK (13) |
monday - thursday (10) survivors ![]() Sunday's trial was only mere hours ago, but you find yourself faced with a new week on The Pygmalion. When you awaken, you will find that the ship is still in disarray; there is no robot prepared breakfast, nor has any of the damage been repaired. The ship bears power in the rooms you have decided should have power, though the lights are dim. Without Alice, you are all on your own. The ominous pressure of the Queen Mother still looms, though you no longer feel Her presence. taken list profiles private conversations setting rulebook ENTER COMMAND_ |

Does anyone really want to be stuck in a cradle? [ He sounds defeated though. ] Sunny said she could fix some of the limitations on us and that the queen's attacks would be more mentally-based. Does anyone have powers that can block something like that?
... I might be able to try something. I don't know, but I've gone into people's heads before.

Are you talking about your scrying thing? Or is there something else you've been holding out on me?
no subject
Yeah, scrying. It's kind of... going down to the very base levels of the universe. To the point where I can communicate with other planes of existence. That's how the dead have contacted me. Not here, obviously. [ A pause. ] I haven't tried it without Cabeswater before, but I don't think that's required.

I remember you told me very briefly how it works, but you never went into that kind of detail. You really think you could still do it without Cabeswater? I thought the forest controlled your hands and eyes?
no subject
It's not a Cabeswater-specific thing. Psychics do it to tune into whatever's going on around them. I'm not a psychic, but I was trained by one so... [ A clumsy shrug. ] I can practice it first, but I told you how it's entirely possible that I'll go in too deep and... die, so I need someone to spot me.

Like we're not already running into certain death? I've heard my pulse slows down and... my face gets empty and I stop blinking. [ He purses his lips. ] Blue once had to cut me to get me back.
no subject
Maybe we are but at least we know that. That sounds more like out of body and that sounds pretty creepy, you're right. [He snorts.] We're not cutting you. Aren't you the one who just argued with me that violence isn't the answer? [Yes, he's throwing that back out there.]
no subject
Shut up. I don't care what you have to do to get me out of it. That's your problem, not mine.

Don't be a dick or I'm dropping you on your ass. [He says as he adjusts his grip so that Adam doesn't actually fall.] We'll find a third party too just in case, okay?
