...How difficult would it be to lift the power restrictions on someone alive, then? Someone who is already on the ship?

Depends on how much power they have. Depends on how fast you want to drain the ship. It's not as simple as entering a couple lines of code.

Can't really promise that. I'm sorry. But I'm always, always, always willing to try. I've thought about it and I think that there's some things I can attempt. My problem is getting the soul back into the body, but if your soul is in the game, I can probably put it in the body. If I know where it is, I think I pull it out. I can. I can do it. I know I can.
