saturday TRIAL DAY ONE (13) survivors At 9 AM, a klaxon alarm begins blaring in every area of the ship. The alarm will continue to go off until everyone has gathered in the conference room. Should anyone be running late or avoiding the trial for whatever reason, a robot guide will appear wherever they are and gently but firmly escort them into the room. Once all the living players are present, the conference room doors will lock shut; anyone who wishes to leave for whatever reason will need to ask AL-2955 or one of the robots. Anyone leaving for non-investigative purposes, such as bathroom breaks, will be accompanied by a robot escort. The large round table in the center of the conference room has been set up to help the trial run as smoothly as possible. Three holographic screens hover above the center hollow of the table, visible from every angle. The first screen displays the pictures and profiles of the suspects and victim; the second displays the autopsy report; the third displays a blank word processor. Each of the chairs comes equipped with a virtual keyboard which can be used to type information directly into the third screen, such as theories and updated information; they can also be set into privacy mode, which will transfer whatever notes someone writes directly into their datapad instead of on screen. There's also a tablet function for those who wish to draw charts or pictures on screen. The keyboards will detect the DNA of whoever's using them and record who's typed what - simply press an area of text and the name of whoever wrote it will pop up. The area to the right of the table has been temporarily sectioned off with a glass partition and sliding door for hygienic issues. Inside, the victim's body has been laid out on a metal autopsy table, covered by a plastic sheet. Above it is a holographic screen that displays a close-up color photograph of the body when it was found. A hand sanitizer dispenser has been considerately attached to the wall nearby for anyone getting up close and personal to the body. To the left of the conference table is a display case. Any evidence found during the investigation will be carefully collected by the robots at some point the previous day and placed here before the trial starts. Beneath each piece of evidence is a small tablet where players can type up information, such as a short description or where it was found. There are also empty areas left over for any evidence that may be found during the trial. The shelf at the very bottom of the case has been reserved for an extra rulebook in case anyone needs it. Food will be served throughout the day by the robots, who will take individual orders whenever you're feeling hungry. The trial will end at 9:00 PM, at which point all players will have been expected to cast their vote.

[ yuno has made a point to make sure luke sets shit on fire apparently and hopefully adam is okay with this because she has definitely just nabbed the both of them after the furry passing message comes in. let's go losers we're gonna set the fuel reserve room on fire.

so by the time they get down there, the desctruoteens have done their thing, but it's time for fire. yuno's made sure that the two of them have impressively sized fireworks and a few smaller ones, and she's tossing her robe into the room to make sure the fire catches once the flammable shit's on it. ]

They're going to be stupidly fucking loud! Get ready for it, they really sound like a firework! And you need to throw them as hard as you can but if you can, go beyond your limit! The harder, the better! The whole fucking room has got to go!

[chiseler]

[Who's pissed? Luke's pissed. Luke's so pissed after his talk with the eye and he's shaken and not at all at ease after that conversation but once everybody's out of the Gaea room he and Adam are booking it for the fuel reserve room. They're stopped by Yuno though and...well...her offer's too good to pass up.

He's juggling fireworks in his hands and even so he's shoulder-to-shoulder with Adam and staring into the dark room with its glowing orb. Jason and Clover did a lot of good work, but he can't help the slightly manic smirk on his face appear at her warning.]

You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say that. [He looks to Adam.] You ready? [He's excited and reckless, ready to be unleashed and tear everything down...but he's desperate, too. He's desperate to do anything to try and save them all. If this is what the Captain said, well, he'll take it.]

[antietam]

[ Guess who also has anger issues that are heavily repressed? Explosions are obviously the solution to this and, yes, he wants to destroy everything after seeing what happened to Luke but he's just glad that he's smiling right now. ]

Wanna see who can throw the farthest? [ That's a challenge for all of them. He grins at Luke and winds his arm back, then throws as hard as he can, which is apparently quite a lot. The explosion that sounds shakes him entirely and it's pretty awesome. He's not waiting for them as he throws meticulously to destroy absolutely everything. ]

[bloodteller]

I'll warn you, I got a hell of an arm.

[ we'll just assume yuno is tossing as much lighter fluid in this fucker as she can manage. in contrast to the two of them, she is pretty unhappy but look. what does fire fix. ]

But sure, they got stones in them, so let's make them skip. On the count of three good?

[chiseler]

...do we have to wait for three? [The lighter fluid is therapeutic and he's pleased with himself even as he debates if he's throwing with his left or his right arm. He's unhappy, but there's something beautiful about destruction and recreating things. That's how Kronos got to him, after all.]

But I think we're good. One....two...three. [And there's a wind-up and a pitch straight toward the orb, watching the firework sail into the dark. He's hoping all three of them will land and explode with a huge bang, really.]

[antietam]

[ Adam throws at the same time, holding his breath for what is bound to be the incredible explosion. ]

I can't believe we waited eleven weeks for this. [ To be fair, this might have destroyed them earlier but hey. He can dream. ]

[bloodteller]

[ aaand into the glowy orb goes the once supposedly safe fireworks.

except they all knock into each other and thanks to the lighter fluid, there's a pretty nice explosion.

hopefully they were just as far back as yuno was when they tossed their fireworks.

she lets the fire go and spread for a moment, before yuno's shoulders fall with relief. ]

Thanks. Both of you.

[chiseler]

[There's a self-satisfied grin as he watches the room burn, looking down at Yuno briefly even as he's already sticking close to Adam again. They shouldn't be so happy. And yet...]

Of course. This is pretty much all we can do now, isn't it? I think we're both okay with this.

[antietam]

Thanks for letting us join in. [ That felt pretty great. It's almost like everything negative has exploded... except they're still in a murder spaceship with no power and no AI to protect them.

For now, though, they can just enjoy the fire. ]
