We all just saw something that's going to send people into a ton of chaos if we don't get everybody on the same page. So I'm calling a council meeting. It's all I can do. [Team Dad is Not Happy.]

[Fussing, but without her Ladybug powers, she's literally just a tiny fifteen year old so she can't haul him around like Luke]

Worse than usual? Does it ever stop?

That would be the ideal, wouldn't it? [There's a nervous grin.] It's not gonna stop until we figure out how to end the project, Marinette. Until then, we've gotta do what we've gotta do. Play along and maybe figure a way out of this motive.

You're right. [She's so much less feisty than before, her head droops as she follows him] We just have to... protect what's left.

[And even if he's busy dragging Adrien around he seems to be able to shift him just fine enough that he can place a hand on her head in some sort of comforting gesture while they're walking.]

We'll figure something out. We just need everybody to talk rationally and we'll be okay. [...except...it's the Pygmalion and literally nobody has their chill anymore.] But I need you to help keep people in line, okay?

[She doesn't really react to it, but she appreciates the gesture, regardless.] Right. If we all work together.... we should be able to come up with something.

You can do a lot by keeping everybody together and stopping people from making bad choices. At this point we're going to need everyone's help no matter how insignificant it'll look. But you've gotta try. [He shifts Adrien on his back a bit.] And make sure this one doesn't get too involved until he's healed up a little. Can I trust you with that?

[missmaladroite]

I'm already working on that. [The Adrien thing, that is. Marinette's confidence is really waning, so she doesn't promise anything, but she nods. No time to be moping around, after all.]
