[when he saw his hostage-- his father, adrien's first telling reflex was to attempt to hide his shame nubbed arm behind whoever was closest. (probably luke since he carried him up and he is Tall.) he's having trouble concentrating on the speech-- there's no such thing as morphine in space and it turns out burning a wound closed hurts like, a lot? who knew?
