[ There's a pretty conspicuous hole right through the glass that separates the main room from the quantum orb. Luckily for Marinette and Dorian, through magical space qunatum physics, it doesn't completely destroy the ship in an explosion. If they get close enough, it looks like something is actually wedged into the orb itself. ]

[Ugh, Dorian, she's a superhero, she can take care of herself!!!]

[But she'll go forward to examine the orb and what's wedged into it.]

It looks like I was right, unfortunately.

I'd do it for any warrior I fought alongside. [Well. Maybe. Unless they ran ahead and he needed to barrier himself!] Rather the point of mages, some might say. Particularly as I'm valued this week; may as well use it.

[He'll get close, too. Be careful Marinette. He literally can't die, but this seems like some sort of dangerous magic at work. He has absolutely no idea about non-magic quantum physics.]

[ Once Marinette vaults up there, she'll see that a robot has gotten stuck into the core. It's twitching as if it's trying to get lose to no avail. Will the hero of Paris save him? ]

[Watching carefully!! He'll take a quick walk around the bridge to notice if anything else is off, but keeps an eye on Marinette to refresh her barrier if she should fall.]

[ The robot friend comes out easily enough, but it is sans one arm. Poor guy. ]

[Either way she's just going to heroically hold little robot-chan in her free arm :(]
