When you awaken, you will find the ship restored to its previous state, all areas interfered with during the murder looking mostly the same as they did before. Along with this, it appears there are new areas opened on the ship. It seems you have more exploring to do. The robot in the cafeteria has prepared another breakfast of various foods. What I wanna know is why she isn't considered an accomplice in each case since she's the one providing us with the weapons and she knows the identity of every murderer. Isn't that the entire definition of accomplice? It's not a secret that this whole project's ridiculous but she's not pulling the plug anytime soon either.

I mean, you'd be surprised! Humor algorithms are preeeeetty advanced nowadays. Well, where I'm from, at least. Even friggin' Claptraps had humor settings, even though they were pieces of shit.
[ But. Let's not talk about Claptrap... ]
...But, y'know, good point. Wonder what would happen if we just voted for her? Or, well. Tried to. Point is, fuck her.

Why haven't we tried that yet? Can't we write in votes? We already know what happens when we don't vote. [RIP Niles, Maria and Todd...] But who says we can't vote for somebody not on the suspect list? It's still a vote.

[ He laughs, since it's hard to tell whether he's being serious here or not, but he does at least seem amused by the idea of voting for Alice. ]
I mean, if she can toss Rhysie on our ballot, hell, we could probably play hardball with her to put herself on there. It's just a matter of getting the right logic with AIs. Usually. Technically no idea about her, but the idea is at least fun to think about.

[But he's still intrigued enough he lets it slide.] Machias wound up on the vulnerables list a couple of weeks back and...then yeah, there was Rhys on the ballots. [He's not sure how to handle the Rhys subject with Jack, so he doesn't.] It's just about outsmarting her, right? If we planted enough evidence against her to where she really had no choice that would probably do it. For a guy apparently known for programming and corporate takeovers, I'm surprised you haven't thought much on this before.

[ But he shrugs, since he does seem to think that it's at least fair. He's been thinking about this issue as if the people here were all from vastly different worlds and planets, so of course they weren't exactly going to get the "straightforward" morals and mentality of Jack's corner of the universe.
But the comment that comes after gets Jack to smile up to the corners of his eyes, seemingly pleased with this. ]
C'mon, hope you don't think I've just been sitting around with a thumb up my ass here! [ He laughs, then shrugs. ] I mean, thought about it, but it was pretty inefficient, I figured. Much more direct? Just find the server she's housed on, unplug it. Simple. Buuuut no luck with that so far, and trying to get in her network has been a bust too, so. The easy, unobtrusive options are seeming less likely. So. Outsmarting an AI seems to be our way to go.
[ There's another laugh and shrug here, though his grin turns more cheeky. ]
'Course, I'll also admit here that I don't exactly have any idea what would happen if we go that route. Could be our ticket out, could screw us over. Little bit of a calculated gamble here.

But I knew you wouldn't disappoint. [It's a scary day when Luke is genuinely interested in Jack's ideas.] Mind if I ask what you've tried so far? I don't know much about hacking but getting into places is sort of a specialty. A gift, I guess. [As unfortunate as that is. But he brings a hand up to rub at his scar thoughtfully.]
Most people here would probably say we shouldn't mess with her since she's the only reason we didn't bite it when the ship went offline last week or whatever. [That was his reasoning, at least.] But at the same time she's already helping kill us so it's all about if the risk is worth it. Are you the kind willing to take that sort of gamble?
