Well. Gotta say, I have a guess, kiddo.
[ But his comment is neutral, and no more invasive than that. It's open, but he won't press further. After all, he has no doubts that she viewed his video. He has no doubts that everyone viewed it, since he's the kind of person naturally inclined to an extreme paranoia. Even so, perhaps that's what makes him wear this so well that he doesn't seem to be particularly bothered. It's like a constant state of being for him, so what does this change, he figures?
...Though of course, even if meeting Yuno was by chance, he can't help but want for her to say more. It's strange, and he'd probably laughed about it at the time. Not at her, of course. Not at her story. But for all of daughters caged by the "good" intentions of their parents, even someone as delusional as Jack is having a hard time ignoring that. He assumes she doesn't know, since he'd expect her rage to be similar to Elizabeth's, but he also doesn't have any intention of bringing it up.
With his popcorn in hand, he steps back, then starts to rather lightly dodge the robots as they do their work, since he's heading to check out some of the games avaliable. ]
Pool, darts, --man, those are some oldass games... Pretty good way to pass the time, I guess? You play any of those?
FIRST OF ALL, HOW DARE YOU,
(disregard that yuno is hiding away in the rec room, trying to pretend she wasn't fantasizing about playing pool with her father.) ]
It's different from just playing tetris all day. [ her tone is casual, controlled. ] A change of pace, you know? Makes up for not having anything to do but thinking about murder for nine weeks straight.
[ with her popcorn in hand, she approaches the pool table again. ] This one. I was-- I'm not clear on the rules, but I get the feeling it's a lot more challenging the more drunk you are, right? Is that why it's in bars?
>:]
What remains of the young man in that memory wants to say "I understand," but the man he's become can't quite reach out that way anymore. So instead, there's the quiet understanding of silence on the matter. ]
Well, something like that? To be completely honest, I'm not much of a pool guy. Darts, that's more my thing. But then again, I was only going to bars for—
[ He starts a story, thinking of his younger days, but of course no one else but Moxxi could come to mind for that. Whatever cheer he was taking in the story fades, and he waves it off. ]
Ehhh, whatever, point is, might as well learn. And, hey, I've got a sweet new hand that could use some grip practice. [ He lifts the severed arm to show off the shiny chrome arm that had been taken from Rhys's and converted for his own uses. ] You wanna try a game? No drinks needed to make it hard in this case.
