What do you mean?! That’s the stupidest choice you could ever make! Stop being stubborn - it’s NOT up for negotiation!
[ Down the hallway leading to the parlour, there was a slightly muffled argument going on. Whether you were in the distant or nearby, there was no way to ignore the insults being slung in such a short amount of time. Two voices: one gruff and overly sarcastic and one stubborn and proper. Guess which two people were having some Words? ]
Really?! You're calling my choices stupid?! [ There's a laugh here, although it really shouldn't even be called that. It sounds far too bitter and annoyed. ] Have you looked at yourself in the mirror, lately? Because the only stubborn idiot I see around here is you!
[ There’s an offended scoff, one that’s loud enough to seem super Fanny Flustered over the mere word “idiot”. If someone was curious enough to see who was arguing, they’d have to continue into the parlour and peek around the corner near the rows of lounge chairs. ]
Don’t you dare call me such a thing, Jason! I’ve been nothing but kind on the matter but this is serious. You’re making this some valiant rescue when we have other things to worry about. Stop focusing on me and --
[ Unfortunately, that sentence won't be completed. Before anybody can peek around the corner, they'll hear the sound of one (1) chair scraping against the floor, almost like it was shoved away harshly, followed by a gasp. If this weren't a place where murders occur every other day, perhaps that wouldn't be alarming... But it's better to make sure nobody is up to foul play this early in the week, right? Of course it is.
Continue towards the spot where the two voices came from, and you'll find— Well.
Elizabeth and Jason making out, apparently. Elizabeth looks flustered or caught off guard, her hands limp at her side, but definitely… returning that kiss. Just saying.
Now is a good time to turn around if you're under the age of 18. Or not. Maybe someone should, uh, stop them. Or shame them. Whatever sounds best.]
wednesday; recreation room
[ Elizabeth had taken a liking to the dart board. You'll find a very crude drawing or Alice - well, crude only because she was in a rush. Her fingers roll the darts between them, one of her legs lifting a bit as she leans forward and - tosses the dart and narrowly misses. She looks over to the person nearest to her, waving the darts.
She wasn't in the best of spirits, but a few people have told her to be strong... so she's trying. ]
This game is fairly fun - would you like a turn?
tuesday
someone is sprinting into the parlor while drawing her sword because holy shit, that might be noticeable enough to stop the makeout session. she's immediately pausing and looking appropriately mortified, at least. why this. elizabeth, please have better taste.]
I-- apologize.
[screams internally.]
no subject
He's pulling away as soon as he hears the footsteps, but that's clearly not fast enough for Adelina to avoid getting a peek at this hot mess. Jason, to his credit, looks somewhat mortified. Or perhaps he's just annoyed by getting interrupted, and upset at whatever the heck they were talking about. It's a mystery.
There's a beat, and—]
Hi. [Uh.] If you're disturbed, I'm not paying for counseling.
no subject
We can explain! [ Not very well. ]
no subject
[okay she kind of is. elizabeth, have better taste. either way, she's shaking her head.]
No, there's no explanation necessary. It's, er, not my place to cast judgment...
no subject
[Jason. Stop making fun of the teens. She's a married woman. Don't be an asshole??? This would be a great moment for Elizabeth to smack him, honestly. He deserves it.]
no subject
Jason, she's our friend! [ Defend Addie at all costs. ] Adelina, this is - ah... it's ... he's nice - and ...things happen and I've never -
[ Stop her, Jason. It's your turn. ]

tuesday
wolf whistles, snaps a pic with her tablet ] Maybe do that somewhere the kidlets can't see? Actually, do it wherever. You filthy rascals.
no subject
The kiss is getting broken up, obviously. Thanks, Roxy.]
Aren't you like, 12? [DON'T??? But, wait.] And for the sake of— delete that picture!
[Is Jason Todd going to stoop to stealing Roxy's tablet if she doesn't? It's a mystery.]
no subject
Is that -? Did you take pictures!? That's so invasive! It's - uh indecent!
tuesday
...
[ well. as long as this doesn't interfere with her plans, she doesn't have an issue with it, but. ]
You both know there's going to be two dead bodies by the end of the week, right...
[ NOT EXACTLY THE TIME FOR SLOPPY MAKE OUTS? ]
no subject
Gee, Jason. You could at least pretend to be embarrassed or something.]
Duly noted. And your point is...?
[THIS IS THE BEST TIME FOR THIS? CLEARLY.]
no subject
[ is it?
I mean it looks kind of obvious Jason and Elizabeth were making out. In frustration. Pretty deeply. But whatever. Yuno can see how red Elizabeth's face is, her thumb rolling up to her bottom lip almost defensively. She takes a step away from Jason. ]
I - uh - Jason?
no subject
Don't hurt her. I'll hurt you. I am warning you.
[ she'd yan face or whatever but she's in too awful of a mood to begin with, sorry.... ..
then, to elizabeth: ]
...Hold onto him, and make sure you both live.
[ #revengesister advice ]
no subject
He doesn't look properly cowed by any means, but at least he isn't rolling his eyes at her. Maybe it's out of respect for the dead parents thing.]
Consider me warned. I hurt her, you kick me in the balls. Sounds good?
[He's not going to hurt Elizabeth. Probably.]

wednesday
Don't mind if I do. [ He grabs a dart, aims, and hits around the side of the drawing, close to the middle but not quite. ] I think this is probably the best way to take out some frustration. Given, you know, the other ways people have been doing it. [ Murdering. ]
no subject
I agree. I've never played a game like this, but I feel better after a short amount of time.
[ A brief pause, she has to. ]
How are you holding up?
no subject
How are you? You seem a little... angry. [ Motions to the dartboard. ] I mean that's natural. But, just at the AI?
no subject
Cheeky, more like it.
[ She corrects him with a wag of her finger. ]
The room says "recreation" but these were all foreign to me. This was the only thing to play, so I made it fun for everyone.
[ Stop her, Jason is a bad influence. ]
no subject
A universal feeling, huh? Even though, apparently, she's the one letting us breathe. [ Still sucks though. ]
I could show you how to play some other things. Card games, Ms. Pac-Man over there, pool...

wed
[Maybe Elizabeth just didn't look over her shoulder far enough to see who it was who just entered. Jessie's plan had been to grab a snocone machine and run, but here she is, caught by Elizabeth.
Still, she picks up a dart and throws it. As expected of the unusually talented Team Rocket, it's an effortless bullseye.]
no subject
I hold nothing against you, Jessie. [ One of the handfuls of people Elizabeth had tried to keep her distance from since the trial - primarily because of the guilt she feels for letting them down. For scaring them. For hurting them. ]
...Have you been healing well...?
[ Elizabeth knows bits and pieces - okay, well eye witness reports but she doesn't remember anything. Hurting no one. Elizabeth's eyes snatch to the view, watching as the bullseye hits. ]
Very nice. You'll have to teach me.
no subject
[She explains her skill. She still goes to the gym sometimes and practices her Pokéball tosses with tennis balls. It's also great just to throw something at the ground over and over and over.]
I'm healing fine. [It feels like a distant memory sometimes with Shelley's death shocking her just as much.] And you shouldn't hold anything against me, I was only following the evidence. I wasn't wrong.
[But then her face softens if only for a moment.]
But that doesn't make me feel any better. You should be more angry with me.
no subject
I shouldn't be. [ It's an awkward subject, honestly. She actively tried to avoid most of the people she harmed - unsure how she'd ever face them. Nearly gutting Fiona, cutting off Jack's hand - k...killing... ] No one knew the circumstances going in. I nor anyone knew there was a creature inside of me... the evidence spoke coldly, but factually.
[ She feels a bit tense, but she has to carry this weight with her now. ]
Why would I be angry? You're not a psychic!
[ Waits for the psychic Pokemon joke. ]
no subject
[This time, she manages to hit Alice's 'eye,' which is clearly intentional on her part.]
And yes, you should be! I didn't wait even a second before turning on you!
[But the way Jessie talks, it's like she's admitting everything she did wrong, like it's all her fault and not Elizabeth's. There's truth in that. She's never blamed Elizabeth for any of this following the reveal.]
Todomatsu told me it'd hurt when someone I trusted murdered someone. [Does Elizabeth even know him, or how close he'd been to Kazuma?] I didn't want to be the chump in our relationship, so I threw you under the bus!
