( monday; conference room )
[ As far as items go, Machias already had to deal with a missing shotgun - one he's definitely inquired about around the ship within the last week to no avail. For a moment, Machias half-expected to see that very thing on display when he walked in. Of course it all had be some kind of plot Alice and whoever else behind this cooked up on thier own, right?

Not quite. Instead, we're met with a different assortment of things. The first item is a picture of Machias, surrounded by a bunch of other students wearing the same red uniform he’s often seen in. Curiously, a couple of them are wearing a green-colored variant. The second appears to be some sort of handheld device, with a fob-like chain attached to it. It’s adorned with a red colored plate, a golden emblem, and lettering on the front that reads “Thors Military Academy.”

The third is… paper? This one seems the one he's most intently focused on. It’s bundled up and bound tightly together that only parts of words on it are visible. The huge letters on it, albeit slightly obscured, stand out: “The Imperial Chronicle.” Unfortunately, it’s been bundled up in a way that it’s impossible to see what’s on the front page, let alone what date or issue it actually is. Not that it made much a difference to Machias; though his face looks still enough, his too tightly clenched knuckles tell a different story. That's the very thing he'd asked Alice for shortly before he'd ended up on the vulnerable list.

To some, the selection of items might seem almost random. But to him, it's been carefully hand-picked; its purpose spelled out clear: were he to kill, he'd finally obtain the very information he'd been seeking the moment he arrived here. ]

( any day; archives )
[ Ah, the archives, the one place on the ship that practically calls out to him. He's scouring around for whatever information looks to be of use, particularly if there's anything to be learned about the ship's history or the crew. Later on, he'll have a gathering of materials around him. Curiously, for those well-read on their history, they may recognize one thing they share in common: they all seem to be dealing with the subject of civil war. ]

( thursday evening; chapel )
[ Come evening time, Machias can be found sitting quietly on one of the pews. He seems unusually quiet for once and looking pretty contemplative. Seems like he's got a lot on his mind, so don't do anything to make him holler! Would you really make the nerd holler in church? ]
