It's clearly a desperate bid, but it doesn't root itself in place. Instead, you feel lighter than ever - Her attempt to claim you has only unraveled the string that kept you in place. [ Five Cradles and a Nightmare is too much on Allen's poor soul -- that, and he hasn't truly slept in forever. He's slumped over in a corner; forget the pods, he doesn't want to risk forgetting everything again. He's pulled some sheets from within them over to his nice corner, so he's comfortable enough.

Anyone is free to join him if they prefer! Or wake him if any fighting is happening. ]

[ With the fight against the queen in the horizon, the crew was in for a hell of a last battle. Fortunately the weapons locker escaped the last conflict relatively unscathed, leaving Machias an opportunity to grab a shotgun and a shitload of shells. Given his orbal shotgun was gone now, he had to make do. It'd make things easier if he had his orbal arts, but unfortunately magic simply wasn't an option.

All that doesn't change the fact he's tired as hell, especially given he hasn't actually slept in weeks - none of the dead have. When he sees Allen, he'll quietly shuffle on over and take a seat in the empty spot nearby. ]

Hey. Mind if I sit here?

[ mumble mumble feel free but keep the shotgun on your free side bc no one wants to sleep on that zzzzz ]

[ That's pretty much the answer he anticipated so he's just going to straight up collapse against the wall and get that shut eye, quietly murmuring over to Allen. ]

Get some rest. Aidios knows we'll definitely need it.

[ That's awfully nice of Machias. Allen nicely tosses an extra pillow at Machias's face, ducking into the sheets wrapped around him to hide his smile. ]

Mm. Your stress level must be a million times higher than mine. I'd say you deserve all the rest you can get.

[There's been a lot of stuff happening and well, Kazuma's tired too. And it's a good thing to actually feel tired. So he's just going to nap next to Allen and probably wind up a bit more closer to him than he'd like, but oh well.]

[ By which you mean, there will be a lot of leaning against each other. Which is what Allen automatically does when he senses a warm body near him. Thank you, tall pillow friend. ]

[ He's kind of bony, but he sure is tall. They've come so far.]

[ The sheets and pillows will make up for Kazuma's boniness. Besides, Allen isn't too picky about this stuff.

After a long while, he'll turn his head a little and murmur a question, low enough so if Kazuma is still sleeping, it won't wake him. But should he be awake, it'll catch his attention. ]

Kazuma... what will you say to him when you meet again? [ There's probably no need to elaborate on who the "him" is. ]

[ Kazuma isn't really a light sleeper, but he's in that stage where he's not really completely asleep. It takes him a bit to answer, but not because he's too tired to think, but because it's a hard question.]

I'd tell him...sorry. And that I missed him. [ Which would both go over really poorly.]

{ At some point Arumat has decided a brief respite couldn't hurt. So he draws briefly nearby, against a wall. But likely to leave soon - whether because of deciding to take part in future circumstances ( a fight or maybe a meeting of some kind ). }

[ It comes out soft, more of a breath than actual words. His eyes remain closed, but Arumat has a very particular way in which he moves, and by now, Allen can recognize it. ]

{ Arumat will step closer, assuming he is being beckoned to come hither, whether or not this is the case. }

[ Still soft. After all, there's at least two people napping on/by him. ]

{ He basically stopped sleeping almost entirely when Frankenstein died (minus one time where did sleep because of a certain someone), and then he died...and he didn't need to sleep while he was dead (????), so. }
